A/T question. I have been searching all over for this topic to see if anyone else has done it. I asked Jamie at Fuel Moto to send me a map for AFR's from 13.8-14.2 in my mid and cruising range which replaced the 14.6 cells. I understand that my bike is now running open loop. I had a 2004 that was EFI without o2 sensors and the bike ran great with a .510 cam in it. Stoich is too lean for these bikes. I am not saying I will run A/T on it. What I am asking is how would it even work? I haven't tried it yet but I would assume the display would show a NFR:O code basically telling me the bike is in open loop and will not autotune. Jamie says I can still run autotune. I am confused. Can anyone shed light on this?

The Fuel Table represents commanded AFR (or Lambda), if you take a look at this table you will typically see values that vary from 14.6 in the light load areas to 12.8 or so in the higher loads & upper RPM's. In your example 14.6 is the closed loop switch, any other value is open loop so the ECM ignores the O2 sensors. I did change this area of your tune at your request, however note we run nearly every closed loop calibration we develop near stoich in the light load areas of the tune.

When you run the PowerVision Auto Tune Basic (if you have the stock O2 sensors) the PV changes the tune as follows:

AutoTune Basic—automatically applies a .pvv to the tune that does the following:
Sets the base fuel table to 14.6 for AFR based calibrations and .982 for lambda based
calibrations.
• Disables AE/DE/EITMS/PE/Adaptive Control.
• Retards 4 degrees of timing.
• Bias the close loop range to .700mv on AFR based calibrations.
General
• Sets calib to PVAT (Session Number).
• Clears adaptive fuel tables after flashing.

It runs that during the Auto Tune and makes changes to the VE Tables based on the O2 sensor feedback.
When you apply the Auto Tune Settings, When you "Export Learned Tune" , it outputs the new VE values into your tune and resets the the changes AutoTune made back to the original
settings from your tune. The AFR will be set back to your original tune. Then you flash the updated tune to your bike.

Here is more info on the PowerVision Auto Tune:

Hey gang, I have a Quick Q,

Since last April or so,
has there been any updates, to the Power Vision, paired with Target Tune?
Also is the "Tune-Tune" Updatable? If so, Thru PV?
I would check quickly
If I could,
all Apple pc etc in house

******EXCEPT******

The old Dell Laptop
that takes 15 min to load, lol
but thats not the real problem

My 8/YO Daughter claim ed it as hers, and it is.

well if you have kids,
Try Taking something they play on DAILY

I have to Beg Borrow and BRIBE HER. LOL

So thats why I ask on the thread,
Rather check quickly
As this could take 1-4 hours,
before I AM allowed to "use"
and she stands and waits..

So thats why I ask here
as all the stress to do it,
well it needs to be 'Worth It"

UGHHH

Is There Any plans to get DynoJet on IOS/Apple OS?
Or has it happened?
That would be awesome...
As I never get the time, to utilize research the collected information, etc...

Thank-you in Advance,

My Brethern!

I just run a VM with windows on it. If you have time, its not too hard to set up -

Oracle VM VirtualBox

https://www.virtualbox.org/Download and run, then download the Win10 'demo' and install that. you wont be able to customize it, but you can run it, log in, and run PV from it without issue.

There are a few in NJ, but depends on where. Im in the 'north' and there are a few guys, one in basking ridge I had mine tuned on. now when I shared the tune with FuelMoto they said 'thats not how your supposed to do that' as they turned off the closed loop options, but Ive found it tends to run better that way.
Point being is there are a lot of shops, that can tune it, but getting it tuned to your bike, ect, is well, a crap shoot. And of course, change one thing and that tunes gone. I spent $400 on my tune. then changed to 2" baffles from 1.75" so now its all mostly all gone.

Check www.microcenter.com too, there's always decent laptops for $3-400 that'd get the job done, definitely desktops in that ballpark too.

Has anyone had issues with PV not working with the 2019 models and voiding warranty when installed?
