Oil Pressure Switch
Has anybody seen or know of a replacement oil switch or sending unit for the M8?
Got the King out today, nice weather and all before winter hits again and was greeted with the low oil pressure light. It always went out when the junker was restarted and the engine never rattled more than normal. Wasted good riding time testing the oil pressure. It's to spec.

My RG showed low oil on my way home when first bot new from dealer. I took next exit and returned to dealer. They were closed, as it was after hours by time the purchase was completed. Luckily the service manager was in back and heard me knocking. He noted the issue and verified oil level was ok. Later got oil pressure sensor replaced. Original sensor intermittent. New sensor has been good.

The only thing that is holding me up on completely doing away with HD's china switch is the machine thread and oring seat/support on the oem design switch. I have 4-20 ma pressure pressure sending units I can run to a digital read out. Or I could run a line and put a old school gage on it of good quality from Winters, Marsh or other high quality Liq. Filled instrument with braided line. Or if there is a switch out there with the same make up from a quality company I could wire into I could keep the idiot light.....

I had it happen 3x in 5k, start it up (normal) look down and light was on (no abnormal noise) shut off and restart all ok. I bought a new sender ($12) and has not happened since, (but is very random) I wondered if there is a software glitch that is reporting before it should be looking at pressure after start up. it stays on until restart, Mike
