Android Auto, phone keeps disconnecting
Hey , i have a Samsung S8, with a good cable for data and charging that works fine in my car,when i plug in my phone to the GTS radio everything is fine thn after awhile it will disconnect and reconnect radomly and eventually wont reconnect, getting frustrationg and not sure why, anyone experiece the same and have you found a solution

It happens to me after about an hour of riding. Likely a bug (on either the bike, or the phone). I have the latest AA update on my phone (as of yesterday, I believe?), but I havent had a chance to ride since that update.

Just installed the latest MY21 update released a few days ago. Havent had a chance to ride, but maybe there's a fix for this issue in the update.

I have connection issues with Apple CarPlay also. It's tricky to get it to initialize when you start the bike on either first start or just stopping quick and restarting (Same with several people I know). I use the WHIM and my headset is connected. You need to unplug the phone and replug it in a few times sometimes. I just updated tonight so I'll see tomorrow if that is fixed.

I have the Samsung 8+ and no issues. I upgraded the software on the bike about a month ago and now have Android Auto, and love it! The only issue I have is it doesn’t see all my Spotify playlists while riding. Sometimes I have to choose a playlist before I take off.
I didn’t know there was a new software update a few days ago. Probably won’t upgrade until I know what the “fixes” are.
