"DYNO" Numbers For SOFTAILS
In my future 98" build with my heads decked to match the compression on the cams I;m choosing, I'm expecting 110+ running my propipe. You should get at least that on a 103.
SE Ventilator Performance Air Cleaner
SE 204 Cams
KessTech exhaust ESM2 (German Manufacturer), 3'' slip-ons (tuned open)
SE Super Tuner
Tuned by an indy tuner cooperating with my local HD dealer
Before:
82.5 hp (83,6 PS) @ 4985 rpm
93.15 ft-lbs (126,3 Nm) @ 3853 rpm
After:
90.15 hp (91,4 PS) @ 4691 rpm
112.6 ft-lbs (152,2 Nm) @ 3692 rpm
What's most amazing is the torque increase in the low rpm band. At 2100 rpm the tq almost doubled from appr. 75 to 135 Nm
The Sheet:
SE204 cams, SE Vent. Perf. A/C, KessTech exhaust, SE Super Tuner
This is for my 2009 Fatboy and is now a 103 motor. Heads have flowed and ported, larger valves & springs, 52mm throttle body, S&S 625 cams, 10.5:1comp. V&H Pro pipe. I will be changing the exhaust soon back to the original header pipes and S&S turbo slip on mufflers. Then off to my Dyno tuner.
some cams produce figures where HP>TQ, the 259e also has similar no's where HP>TQ
is the builder in Adelaide?
do you want something just to go from light to light
document doesn't want to attach. No changes to the engine other than adjusting the S&S carb which gained me approx. 10 HP and 7 ft lbs of torque.
106HP 113 torque (tested at 4700' elevation)
Cycle Shack type "M" pipes (basically drag pipes with hint of baffles)
Kuryakyn Mach II air cleaner.
