You guys are putting out some serious numbers! Awesome to see what is possible. Here are the numbers on my '08 Rocker C: 85.48, HP 98.08 Torque, with the SE204 Cam, V&H Big Radius 2 into 1, and Heavy Breather.
Hi I have read your posts, I dont have much done to my 08 Softail Deluxe, some Vance and Hines pipes and larger air filter. The dealer has done all the work to my bike to this point. I took the bike in last August, due to it stalling and back firing at intersections. I figured it was the heat. The dealer couldnt duplicate the problem. Well today Nov. 29, 2009, It was 73 degrees and I was not in stop and go traffic, coming into intersections it wants to stall when I pull the clutch in. I have to keep popping the throttle to keep it running. When I pulled into my shop to park it I checked the charging system to see that I was getting sufficient spark. Thats fine. Then I start to smell gas like its running to rich. I crack the throttle a few times and I see blue flames firing out of the pipes!! Looks great but thats not right. I think my bike is running to rich!!??????? The reason I'm replying to your post is that you are talking dyno and tunning, can you give me any help? Thanks
Anyone have any ideas? I guess its back to the dealer, UGH!!!
Do you have any fuel management? Thundermax, PCIII, Mastertune ect. If not, I highly recommend it. After you have that, I can't emphasize enough to find a competent tuner and he'll be able to dial your bike right in. Hope this is of some help. Good Luck
Have a 2007 FXSTC. I added a Thunderheader and had the local dealer install the 103 inch Stage III kit. Put 400 miles on the bike, changed the oil and the dealer did their dyno tune. They did pick up 13 hp and 10 #' of torque over stock Stage III software. I am not sure if 99.74 hp/109.7 torque is where it should be. I guess I am basing my feelings on my 1200 Sportser with a Buell upper and a Thunderheader made 95 hp. Bike definetly runs harder with the upgrade. Am I missing something?
This is my every day ride on pump gas. 2000 FLSTF. Photo is of the winners board at the 2009 WyoTech Brute Horsepower Shootout. 144.2 HP. Bike gets 50 mpg and has been on several 1,000 mile weekend trips. Not bad for only 113 cid. built here at the shop. Thanks to the Guys at Hemi Performance Engineering and Speeds Performance Plus.
50mpg??? You must be going down a lot of hills. How do ya do it?
