txphatboy, I think you may be on to something - power at the crankshaft vs power at the wheel.
DD&Weevil, it's a 96CI engine (stock) and the spec is from the HD website. The map is tailored by dynojet for 2010 Fatboys with stage 1 and D&D fatcats. I've tried other maps from fuelmoto which had similar map numbers and performance but were not dynojet tested.

On a stock 96" motor, 68 hp/82 tq SAE is about average based on dyno testing at the rear wheel. With a stage 1 download and canned map, set up very similar to your bike, it still should be somewhere in the 70+ hp/80+ tq range.
I'm sending you a link for Docs Performance Tuning in Minneola, Florida. He's, arguably, one of the best tuners in the United States. Scroll down to the feedback with the red lettering. Tuning a bike set up pretty close to yours, he was able to squeeze out 92.12 tq & 76.75 hp SAE. He was tuning using a TTS vs. a PCV. http://www.docsperformancetuning.com...Feed_Back.html
I can also refer you to other site(s) that will verify the numbers here. I'm sure if you decided to get a custom tune your #'s would increase. By how much? And you're lucky to live in an area where there are some darn good tuners. A few that come to mind is Jim Kennedy (aka strokerjlk) at Paradise Performance in Mattoon, IL, (217)273-6847, Valley Racing in Beecher, IL, (708)946-1440 and Engines by Otto in Sugar Grove, IL, (630)466-3900. The only fly in the ointment is if they tune using the PCV or not.
2004 heritage softail 104 all bore (4" stroke 4.075 bore) WFO heads, S&S 585 ez Fatcat standard baffle, got it posted on other forums ,thought post it here
Congrats on the nice build. Second all bore 104" dyno chart I've seen. Both with great numbers (the other = 116tq/118hp SAE). Surprised you don't see more around.
yno's How much are the dyno's coing for at a HD dealership? Is is wise to first do the Stage 1 download, then the dyno? Or does it matter. I have a stock 2006 Heritage. Any advantage to doing both, one, or none?
