Kuryakyn 4G cams
S&S Gear Drive
95" big bore
Flat top cast pistons
Underground Performance Heads with new valve springs, deck milled down 0.030"
Power Commander, Custom Maped by John Golden
We turned out right at 100 HP and 100 Ft/lb. Torque. It is an awesome bike. This build has been on the roads now for about 6 years and running strong. The valve train is more quiet than stock, and with the overlap in the valve timing no compression release is needed (starts easy on a hot motor with the stock starter). A very nice build, even with the crappy V&H Long Shots that were on it. Some good pipes would extract some more power out of this setup no doubt.

My friend and I just build his 2001 carburated Fatboy. It received the following:
Wiesco 10.5:1 domed forged pistons
95" bored cylinders (Hotshot Motorworks)
Cam Plate machined for higher oil pressure and flow (Hotshot Motorworks)
Andrews 56G cams
S&S Gear Drive
Underground Performance heads, new valve springs, deck cut down 0.030"
Mikuni HSR42 carb, jetted proper for the setup
Daytona Twin Tec ignition module
SE intake manifold port matched to the heads
Commetic MLS gaskets. 0.040 head gasket
V&H Big Shots Staggerd
We are waiting for a dyno run this summer to see what it is doing number wise. It is a very stong setup with a nice flat torque curve though. The bike pulls all the way through the RPM range. It sounds and runs AWESOME. It is a bit hard on the old stock starter that has put out 9 years of service though. A 1.4 Kw starter is on the bench ready to install in the next few weeks. A compression release system may also be helpful in hindsight. There is no pinging on the motor when it is lugged, or when hot on 93 octane pump gas, so the compression ratio is good for running daily use. Overall, a very nice setup.
Just got the bike back from Custom Hawg. Updated the 88 ci w/new se203's, se cam plate and pump, daytona twin tech adjustable ignition, super e S&S carb, and a thunder header. I went from 71hp to 84hp and 96lbs of torgue. Big gain without realy tearing into the motor. Nate did a great job. You can realy feel it. I'm very happy.
Had Stage 1, SE heavy breather, Rinehart 2 into 1, SE map, otherwise stock 96". Just had Hillside install Woods 7h cam, 4 degree cam advance gear, s&s adj rods and barnett hd clutch spring. They ran it on the dyno there, untuned and got 101 tq and 87 hp. Its at Joes Cycle now getting a custom map.....details to follow.
Just had mine dyno tuned for the first time yesterday. Had just been running a "seat of the pants" tune for the last several years.
I've got it bored to 95", SE flat top pistons, SE203 cams, stock heads, thunder slide in the carb, Thunderheader exhaust, and a K&N filter. I got 81hp and 95ft/lbs. I feel that's pretty good for stock heads and SE cams. Will post the sheets as soon as I get my scanner up and running again.
Now if I could only afford some new gear driven cams and ported/polished heads to get up into the 100 club. I want torque closer to 110!
I have given this power thing a lot of thought lately and i gets old. these numbers mean nothing think about it your bike is revered up to the max and when there done they hand you a piece of paper that in reality means nothing. one operator will get a totally different set of numbers from the same bike. whats it all mean in the end. a good rider with less can overtake a not so good rider who may not have the ***** to turn it loose.i got a few extra ponies in my bike but do not give it much thought any more. i know guys who have strokers and so what its ok for around town or corner to corner but on them nice all day long rides you can have them. all in all its an ego thing all that power and no where to let it go.i cant think of two many places where i can turn it loose and feel safe and not have to worry about some jerk coming out in front of me as i am going through the gears. all in all its over rated over priced and not accurate if the operator does not really know what he is doing. i have said this before and ill say it again all you have to do is find someone who has what your running and you will be in the same ball park when all is said and done. I am running stage four as harley would call it every thing but a stroker kit which is not recommend on the B engine. any one with this package will and should be in the 100 100 club. no dyno needed to figure this out because the outcome is always in the same ballpark
