I'm thinking of putting 16" apes on my 09' FLSTC. I also want to be able to attach a windshield for long rides. Does anyone know if it is a pain or not to make this happen?
i run 16" on mine and also use the hd quick detach winshield. because of how i like my bars forward when i do put the shield on i have to lean them back a little more. my rule is if its under 500 miles no windshield. though i did a 2100 mile trip in 4 days and 400 was in the rain and i was praising that thing. lmao
