Default Wheel fitment

I have a 2007 FXSTC and I am planning on purchasing one of the solid chrome rear wheels that Harley sells. I find them on Ebay all the time and the cheapest ones state that they fit the 2006 only. From what I understand the 06 and 07 FXST have the same swingarm and spacers the only difference may be the pulley width. My 07 uses a 20mm belt. I really can't get a straight answer from Harley so does anyone here know and have you done this? I do know that the bearing on both years are 3/4. I would appreciate any and all advice and input before I invest any money

I put a 2006 wheel on my 1984 FXST that has a custom swingarm. You just need to mock it up. You may have to have custom spacers made or Vulcanworks has ready made pulley and axle spacers if you need them. http://vulcanworks.net/store_4/produ...7&cat=3&page=1

I believe that 07 was the first year of the 200mm rear tire. I assume that the wheel width increased also.

Like Tom said you just need to space out either the wheel or pulley or both. It is possible...

I was just told by a seller on Ebay that the offset was different on the o6 and 07 so it was not a direct fit.

the axial size was changed in 07, wheels are the same but have a different part number because the bearing is different

06 they went to narrow belt and pulley to fit the 200!older models can fit the 5.5 if they change the pulley and belt!and also the rear guard,a deuce can fit a 200 under its guard but the other older softails cant because of the guard, max rim 4.5 which is standard on deuce,
