I have the 39", just put a power commander and it definitely has the rumbly decel. Try a different fuel map. I used the one for stage 1 air cleaner, stock ecm, and vance and hines longshots. Sounds mean. Good luck
Yup thats the problem. Its a rumble on decel. I have a stage 1 ness big sucker. And was told to get a pc to help with tuning... Its better but not there yet. I am thinking of just changing the slip ons with a smaller pipe fishtail???

It'd be cheaper to get a tuner than new mufflers and your bike would run better and cooler, and faster. The tuner helped a ton on mine. It's a good investment.
You WANT your bike to backfire? Back firing is not a "fishtail sound", it comes either from running too rich or from having an exhaust leak. Maybe your other pipes had an exhaust leak and that's why they backfired.
Most people that have backfiring look to solve the problem that is causing it. You actually want yours to sound like a poorly tuned bike?
I completely agree with the above statement, its like you are looking to detune a perfectly running bike to make it have an obnoxious decel snap and pop

i know exactly what sound your looking for and i think i know what you mean...when i first bought my bike, the previous owner already had the samson's installed but with baffles. during acceleration they were loud but quiet at constant acceleration and deceleration. when i switched to the non-baffled cholos, the biggest difference in sound between the baffled and non-baffled is during deceleration. if you're there isn't much difference between the two then there might be something wrong...fyi, i don't know if the previous owner had the bike tuned after he installed the samsons. and i have yet to get mines tuned after i installed the muffler cholos.

I am gonna play with the map that jaime @fuelmoto sent me.does someone have a setting that might work. The pipes are non baffled
