Default Question about installing new Kromewerks bars

So my new Heritage style bars from Kromewerks today and wanted to check real quick before I start my install.

I got these -1" Stretch Heritage Style with ETC for 1982-2017 Harley-DavidsonŽ models

i have a 2005 RK Custom EFI with no TBW. I do not plan on running internal cables. Plan on using existing cables. Erik at Kromewerks assured me that I wouldn't need anything special but I thought I'd check with you guys to be extra safe.

Im attaching a couple of pictures. The end of the bar that is notched. That's to accommodate TBW right? I don't need to worry about doing anything with that correct?

The hole at the bottom between the knurled sections. Don't have to worry about that correct?

Then there is a hole on the underside of each side at the bend. What are those for and do I have to worry about those?

Notched end on bar is for TBW - you do not have to do anything special...install your throttle and grip.

The holes located at the bottom and both grip section of the bar are for wires to be ran internally. You say your not running them that way, so no need to worry about them.

Continue with your install.

Just an FYI, a one-piece top clamp from an 08 and later will make the bottom stronger where the hole is.

Is it that weak there that I'd need to do this?

Internal wiring looks so much nicer. The wiring follows the bars anyway so i cant see the length being any different. If the bars are drilled for it its not difficult and looks so much cleaner. Just my .02

There is a filler piece that goes on the end of the bar in place of the throttle by wire unit. I believe this is needed to properly set up and space the bar for throttle by cables. I used on on my 2006 Ultra Classic it was no big deal. Otherwise you are good to go.

Yes, you need this filler piece to keep the bars the same length when using throttle by cable grips. Here's a link to the web page.
