Oil Relocation kit

I just ordered a relocation kit from DK for my street glide. Just curious about the filter. I didn't order the permanent filter(yet) but was wondering if any one ever had any issues using the standard filter the dealer puts on? Rocks, debris, etc.. Thanks!

While installing this oil filter relocation kit I had to remove my chopped crash bars in order for it to work
I want to order a different set of crash bars, but want something that looks good and will not interfere with the oil filter.
I don't want the standard Harley crash bars, and was hoping for some suggestions. It's for a 23 street glide.

I went for a test ride yesterday, one of the hose clamps was sleeping oil slightly, just enough to make it damp. I gave the worm clamps a few more turns. Oddly, my 12 point sockets did not work well, I had to use a 6 point socket and a small combo wrench at one point. I went on another test ride, no leaks 😄
Man that oil filter gets freak'n hot. Yeah, I had to touch it, just to see how hot it was.
I can see the oil temp is truly lower on my oil temp gauge on my bike. Instead of reading 230 Deg F (Points straight up like at 12 O'clock position) it was few Deg lower. Not sure how much, it's an analog gauge without any small incremental markings. It is definitely running cooler.

On one of my test rides, I made a hard left turn, leaned into it pretty good. I heard a scraping noise, it was the left floor board. The oil filter and mounting hardware were not damaged at all. 😁.
