There was a misalignment of the front cam..........by one tooth. I took the sprockets off and looked at the line up as it was showing on the outboard face of the cam plate and recognized that per your advice. Had to remove the cam plate and reset the front cam. Made sure the dots on the face of the cams lined up. I noted that on the outboard side, the rear cam "flat" would line up (center) with the projection of the cast-in diagonal line on the front of the cam plate and the dots of the front and rear cams were in a straight-across alignment. After the cam plate assembly was reinstalled I double-checked the crank flat alignment and then I was able to just slide the two sprockets right into place. The sprocket alignment dots are in the correct position along that same cast-in diagonal line. As an aside: I do have the rear cylinder at TDC. Thanks for the help. Now, could you come over and adjust my pushrods for me? They sure take a lot of wrench twisting! Just kidding. Should be good to go. Raining for the next three days so plenty of time to wrap it up.
The adjustables are not bad to install. Make sure you are at TDC compression. Ensure both lifters on the cylinder you are working on are all the way down and all should go well.
Man, what a great write up. Between this, the manual and that J&S video it should be pretty easy.
Thanks so much atrain for taking the time for all of us. I can tell you enjoyed it also. Nice job!
I also want to thank iclick for his input...
In addition to the 37 other questions I have here is a couple that are at the tip of my tongue at the moment.
My bike has like just around 5000 miles on it, do I have to check the crank run-out and if so, where do I get a tool for that?
I don't have any kind of tuner on the bike, just SE A/C and slip-ons. I plan to get a SE tuner and the bike dyno'd after the fact. Can I ride it before I get the tune? I am thinking on a full exhaust system too, can I ride it after all that or do I have to get it trailered to the dyno first?
Posting to keep this saved. Between yours, and others write ups, there is no doubt I can do this. I've done cam swaps on DOHC and Ford pushrod engines, but some reason b/c it's my bike I've been not too willing to try it even though I've got the cams. Thanks!
OK, just ordered my cams (which I'm going through the rocker covers for), my full exhaust and my new speedo/tech combo. I'm also going to be doing a front turn signal relo...all in the same span...
Man am I in trouble!! lol

Hey guys, I did a FuelMoto upgrade 107 with the 777 cam and TTS MasterTune EFI controller. I blew the head gaskets after a month and a half...Jamie at FuelMoto says spark advance/retard is probably the culprit. TTS says "no way" I'm tired of trying to figure it out alone...what's the forum for if not to get called a moron for being ignorant lol! Yes I have the manual, and yes I did everything according to the instructions...the only thing I can think of is the tuner. Anyone get me complete values and program name used to program? Images or any info would be HUGE!!!

Did you have a "canned tune? not sure on the tts but my 107 with andrews 55s likes it rich on the bottom, and no extra timing, but im using a pc5/ autotune. I tried a canned tune with it a little leaner and more timing but it got hot/ pinged and low power.
