I did this mod on my 03 FLHTCUI100. I didnt do it on my 2012 Flhtk and my linkage popped off today. I fixed it with zip ties, but incorrectly first. I didnt realize you have to put the ball in the socket, than zip tie it.
I was able to get to a Harley dealer and they put a new stock linkage on. I would like to order a kit with all the right bolts and spacers, instead of reinventing the wheel. I bought my Heim Joints from DK before. Im going to check if they have a kit. Anybody know of a kit available somewhere?
