Im about to install a SE-255 cam and was wondering if it has much of a lope? Will i tell a difference compared to stock? How does the Se-255's lope compared to the SE-204's?

I can't give you a comparison vis-a-vis 204's, but compared to stock cams the 255's will make the engine sound more "aggressive," as described by some of my friends. Put a stocker along side the same bike with same mufflers and 255 cams and the latter will be louder and sound like its on heavy stimulants. Lope? I can't say I would describe the idle on my bike as a lope, but someone else might. If you mean the old "potato-potato" lope we all know and love, I would suggest that it is impossible to attain on any EFI bike--or if it is attainable I have never witnessed an example.
They do not sound anything like the 204's, the 204's sound like one of the old carbonated bikes, but the 255's still perform well. You just need to match the cams to your riding style. To keep the conversation basic, if you rarely take your bike over 4K RPM's, the 255's would more than likely suffice, if you like jamming through the gears and getting up to 5K+, the 204's would be a good choice, but there are also a plethora of other cams out there that could very well suit you better. I completely understand wanting a certain sound out of the bike, but IMHO the cam decision would be better off based to match the performance you're looking for and your style of riding.
Fire-Medic, we haven't talked in a while--so what did you end up putting in your bike and what was the result? I guess "under construction" might suggest you are still working on it.

Many things going on personally put a complete hault to many aspects of my life, so yes just getting back to where I left off. Nothing in the bike yet.......
