looks like the only things you will need to figure out for your self are witch weight of oil to use & how much depending on witch length shock you have.

for me having the 2011 SG & going to lower it the 1" in the rear i will use 7w oil & 8oz of it.
this sound about right?

thanks

Gonna do my buds SE ultra this weekend. He's a little vertically challenged and has a little trouble backin it up.

Check ebay for the valve. Its just a NC 2 wire solenoid valve. All the info is in the air ride thread

Wife has a Street Glide that we wanted to lower, spent a month trying to decide which way to go. Was thinking that moving the angle of the shock back should not hurt much (it's not like the shock was vertical to start with!). Custom Dynamics had a sale on the Arnott air ride, complete kit with keyfob control for $499. She loves it! Drops it as she pulls into a parking spot, always flat footed now, easier to back up.

But way cool raising and lowering the bike while someone is looking at it and she is 20 feet away!

I've never hit the wires or the seat screw and I've used first and second hole. Here's a picture of mine in the second 2 inch lower holes.
Add me to Ron's statement, had mine in first hole for over a year and I dont feel any diff from stock shocks. Never bottomed out or ruined wires or anything. Oh and my bags dont get scrapped period. I know its hard to believe a kit running less than $50 is that good, but for people like Ron and me it works. You decide.
