I demo rode the VCC twice before I bought my Ultra. With the exception of those big flat crash bars, I really like the looks of it. I liked its smooth ride. To be honest, I'm still not sure I made the right decision in picking the Ultra. But I will live with it and be happy. For me, the only thing that put the VCC behind the Ultra was the size. It felt huge. Even when riding it, the huge mass was always there. My Ultra is also a big bike, but the size seems to disappear while riding it.
A Victory? Really? You're not kidding? And you have a 2012 Road King? Wow.
I have a 2012 FatBoy Lo and I pick up my new Street Glide on Thursday. Gotta say, I wouldn't even consider a Victory. No way, no how.
There's nothing quite like getting onto a forum and bragging about the competition to get yourself in hot water. If I were you I'd suggest keeping a lower profile . . .
I happen to own a Mini Cooper S and a Hyundai Accent. Both good small cars but the Accent doesn't hold a torch to my Cooper when it comes to performance. I happened to mention that on the Hyundai forum - after a young chap decided he'd brag about hardly being able to wait to take a Mini Cooper in a bend. Damn - did I hear about it - even if I was right.
The same company that owns this forum runs the Victory Forum. Might I suggest you find your way over there and leave us to enjoy our clearly superior motorcycles?
If I still owned a Harley and proped up some of Victory's superior qualities as several have on this post, would that still go against the grain there Dave? The OP with 2600 posts in 6 yrs. owned 3 Harleys gets excoriated, tagged a troll etc. for even mentioning Victory.I've ridden both extensively and like both.If Victory Vision pops up here I like to have a little good natured difference of opinion,no crime here is there?Don't take life quite so seriously or don't berate my ride so extensively then you won't hear from me lol.

I'm just having trouble understanding why you, or anyone else for that matter, not owning a Harley, feels obliged to hang out here and extol the virtues of other brands of motorcycle. That's really not what this forum is all about. Perhaps this thread should get moved to the "Off Topic" forum where it belongs . . . (although the rules over there are no religious topics - so maybe not).
Even if you did own a Harley it hardly seems appropriate. There's pros and cons of any brand of motorcycle. You've expressed your opinion, curiously as though it were fact. Now, please get off your high horse and leave us poor Harley owners, who clearly know nothing about what constitutes a halfway decent bike, alone in our misery.
Did I? I believe all I said is that, in my opinion, it's butt ugly. And oh my god is it ugly?! If I wanted my ride to look like a toilet seat with wheels . . . I'd buy my bike from American Standard - or Polaris. OK, sufficiently berated? Good.
Lol Dang it, I can't believe that I read all 11 pages of this. I should have been doing something productive But o well. To the OP enjoy what ever you ride.
