I'd check the primary fluid level and make sure the clutch is adjusted properly first, then check the transmission fluid level. Too much or too little oil in the primary might not let your clutch work properly. Incorrect oil levels in the transmission isn't good for it either.

After 700-1000 miles my bike started shifting much smoother and neutral became much easier to find.
I think it might be a shift return spring. The shift lever doesn’t spring back to center position after I downshift.

Installed some Night Dragons today. Took a short ride before the wind and rain picked up just to try them out real quick. The ride is smoother now that's for sure. Anxious to get them scrubbed in and get a good feel for them.

Bike looks good.
How many miles on the stock tires, were they worn out?

Nice bike. I'm riding 2 hours away to get the exact same exhaust installed on mine today. How do you like the sound?

I had about 7000 miles on the rear tire and it is pretty squared off and almost on the wear bars. The front had about 9000 miles and probably still had about 1000 more miles or so.

Thanks. I love the pipe. It's a bit raspy but not horribly so. I have the race version so I was able to remove the dB reducer and cut it down in length to get a bit more sound while maintainig the performance of the pipe.

Without the dB reducer, the pipe is pretty deep and very loud, but there is a noticable loss in low end performance. It also droned the hell out of my ears without it. I think you will like the pipe sound and performance.

Edit: forgot to mention that the pipe is pretty mild at idle and gets decently loud when reved up. Overall it's a great pipe.

Got mine installed today but I'm a little disappointed. The Rinehart slip ons I put on my last Fat Bob had a better tone & I they sounded great at 80 MPH+. I can't hear these S&S pipes at all at highway speeds. I will probably remove the db killers, although I'd hate to lose low-end performance. Is it significantly louder without the db killers? Some have said the difference in loudness is so small that it's almost undetectable but I'd like to hear your opinion.

On the upside, there was a noticeable improvement in performance and it did sound good running through the gears.

Has anyone installed these bars on their FXFB-S? I’m looking for something narrower than stock with a slight pull back without ruining the aesthetic. I’ll most likely keep the stock riser as I’m shorter and ride very aggressive. Thanks in advance!

It gets quite a bit louder to my ears without the dB reducer. I didn't like the droning I got and the loss of performance with the dB reducer out so I chopped about 4-ź" off of the dB reducer and put it back in.

It allowed more sound without losing the performance. It's loud enough for me and considerably louder than stock that's for sure. I like the sound especially when ripping on it.
