those look like some cool bags, I have never seen those before, I like the expandable feature of the FXDXT page though. I saw a picture of the back side of a set of dyna convertable bags and the mounting looked the same as the T-sport bags?
Thanks. The bags I have found are actually the FXR canvas and leather bags which I have never seen before. They have all the brackets and stuff for mounting but i am not sure if mounting is the same. Does anyone know? http://www.google.com/imgres?start=1...50&tx=59&ty=62
Definately not the same, they came out with a different system in 01. The older styles used various screw on ***** to mount the bags. Good news is that with a little enginuity, you should be able to make it work.
More people are watching this thread than u think. Pm me if u want to get rid of those Ogio bags for a good price. I like how they looked on there. Keep us updated on your progress. I try and find this thread every day to see what's next.
I have been messing with the settings on the rear shocks for the ;ast few dyas. I avhe it 2 clicks from as firm as it will go on the rebound setting and that seems to be about the best I can find for me. I always ride solo and weigh about 185. I am not sure where the forks are set but they are next for the adjustment settings.[/quote]
Did you ever get the Racetech springs installed in the front? Please take pics of the tool you needed and the process so that I will know what I am getting into when I do mine.
I got my front 11.8" Lyndall carbon composite black phoenix rotors on the front wheel over the weekend along with the Lyndall gold pads which I was told I need to run with these rotors. The first thing I noticed is that the lever pulsation and intermittent pull on the rotors is gone as the stockers were warped as can be.
These rotors are smooth and silent with the gold pads. No squeaking, no noise whatsoever, at least over my TH. It stops even better than it did before and looks killer too.
Now on to the Thunderheader bracket. It is cracking again so it has to go. Thunderheader for $400 with a cracked bracket and a few scratches on the pipe. I think I am going to get a D&D fatcat or a Bassani Road Rage. Thoughts on the various pipes? I have never had a Bassani but have had a D&D and it was a great pipe with a gorgeous finish on it.
It is what it is with the TH. I heard about possible quality issues with TH inlcuding finish, rusting and broken brackets but now that I avhe first hand experience everything is different. Hindsight is 20/20.
