Those floorboards really came out nice...
What camshaft you going with and are you going with adjustable push rods or originals..
Andrews EV 27. Had one on the shelf for a couple of years. Barely has 50 miles on it. And I dipped into my savings for my future 49 FL chopper project and got the Andrews chromoly fully adjustable pushrods.

Nice.. .125" preload on the lifters it's about all you want with stock springs.. if it's still noisy you can go a flat or 2 more.. Are those pushrods 24 or 32 tpi?

Measured and they are 32 tpi. Instruction sheet says four full turns (26 flats) from zero lash.
Those jiffy stand springs hang down below the frame just enough to catch on speed bumps, ramp transitions, curbs, etc. My bike is slammed down and I go through 2-3 a season sometimes. Metal Rescue works great, I've gotten amazing results with it.

Never had that issue on my Fatboy and it's pretty low.. some where around 5.5"of ground clearance..
So....good news is that I got the tranny sprocket off, replaced the main driver gear seal as well as the quad seal. Got sprocket and belt reassembled with zero problems. The locking plate for the sprocket nut is definitely a better idea. Went and adjusted the belt as well. Got to tightening up the axle nut at 50 ft lbs and my 1/2 drive torque wrench gave up the ghost.
Had the torque wrench since 1972. It was the first serious tool I bought to help me with my bike builds. Figure 50 years means it's probably out of warranty as well. Made by Torque Tools INC out of El Monte CA. Unfortunately they are no longer around.
Looking for recommendations please. Brand USA made is preferred. I do not mind used in good shape. This was "click it" style. My preference still. Not looking for digital or dial face type.
