So .. I have been reading till my eyes are bleeding...I am a new PV owner.. and I really like it so far.. I have read here often about getting you VE tables dialed in.. but I cant seem find out how you can tell when they are.. I mean.. I have ran auto tune many time.. export.. flash.. repeat.. What am I looking for as an indicator that I am as good as I am gonna get.. ? I am having a little bit of a bogging feeling as I roll on the throttle kind of hard at about 35%-45% throttle and 1800-2500 Rpm.. not sure what to change to fix that either.. ! LOL But I am learning..
Thanks
Glen
There is obviously a ton of features on the PV that I, and I believe a lot of guys will never figure out, or use, but even just doing the auto tunes and a little tweaking is something most guys can handle. Just as you did I did several auto tunes, but still found the bike had a few "lag" spots, so I started experimenting in the quick tune section and was able to dial them out and the bike runs like a champ now. I went in to quick tune on the PV and hit the Fuel tab and added about 1 or 2 % at a time to the area of concern. ie, mid range. I also added about 2% in the decel area, and this not only got rid of most of the decel popping but also made shifting up and down unbelievably smooth. I know this is probably not the proper or technical way to achieve the best results, but it showed real time "seat of your pants" type improvement. I believe my bike is dialed in about as good as it could get, both in smooth running conditions and improved power. I should also say that I had to start with one of the included maps that was only about as close as I could get as my particular setup wasn't included. It ran like crap for the first little while but after several auto tunes and then going in and "improving" them in quick tunes, I am more than happy with the results...

Question on the gauge feature. I just flashed the tune that was loaded by FM and it's great, feels like a new bike to me.
I chose the 6 gauges that I'd like to view then decided to change one. I can't find it anywhere how to delete a gauge option that you already chose and add another one in it's place. Certainly this has got to be possible given the numerous choices in gauge options. Any help is appreciated.
When you are on the gauge screen, just touch the gauge display that you want to change. That will bring you to the options for that gauge and then reprogram that slot with your new gauge.

On the guage screen, just touch the gauge you want to change. That will bring up the menu to choose.
When I go to the gauge screen and tap the gauge I want to replace all that comes up is the gauge itself, color screen options, parameters and exit screen options. I don't see where I can delete/change it.
BTW, I have 4 gauges not 6 like I originally mentioned.

Then touch the top box, it should be be name of the guage.
When I touch that icon it allows me to change parameters but I don't see where I can change/delete.
Sounds like you need to read the manual and spend time playing with it just pushing buttons. Here is a step by step.
Walk to your motorcycle
Turn on motorcycle
Wait for pv to boot up
Touch data log
Touch gauges
Touch the guage you want to change
Touch the black box next to signal that contains the name of the guage
Select vehicle or dynojet
Select none if you want to delete it
Select your guage
Select ok
Select ok

Or, it's pretty well covered in the manual.
Appreciate the scoop, I read the manual on the gauges but didn't see the section that covered changing them. Thanks again.
