I think thats the data cable connector to your ECM. Not sure what its called. Thats where you would hook your tuner up to install a new tune. Not sure it should just be hanging there though. Mine slides onto a little clip to keep it secure until you need to use it.

I think.......

Well, back in the shop for the fifth time. Oil leaking on right side front cylinder mostly around the top and bottom of the push rod tubes....they've replaced the o-rings four times and I get about 1200 miles before it starts leaking again. Worse this time. Looks like the front cyl is either running way rich or burning oil. It's been 4k since they replaced the oil pump. Just waiting to see what they say about it this time.

when ever I hear about this particular issue, two things come to mind. One being tolorence issues. Either fastners? Or improper tension sequence during assembly.
The other something relating relating to pressure. Either relating to oil pump being most obvious. Don’t ask how or why I came to that conclusion LOL. Other being some clogging somewhere and causing pressure to build.
Front cilinders generally run cooler and so heat’s probably not an issue. Hey also first in line of oil passge, so could be the rear is ‘t getting enough and may cause burning due to low pressure in back.

Default Check engine light

I left my ignition switch on after a ride on my 2017 Road King, well needless to say battery was dead. I didn't have a tender yet so I pulled the battery and charged it. Bike started up fine and ran good on a test drive. But now my check engine light is on.
Did this set off a code? Can I clear it myself or do I have to go back to the dealer?
Other than this I am very happy with the bike and have had no other problems so far.
