I just did the S&S 97" BB, jugs, heads, adj push rods etc....along with 585G cams/plates and SE oil pump, just finished bolting on the D&D Fat Cat.
It runs right nice, but I wanted to D/L a more precise MAP into her for break in.
Will post the Dyno #'s as soon as I get them.
Any info on where I might get a better MAP for break-in?
Looked through Power Commander web site, didn't see anything.
I have an 03 heritage with a 88'' with stg1 breather, vance&hines longshots and a power comander3.Im looking to do a cam upgrade but don't know what to go with as there are so many cam sizes to go with.I just want a strong running bike to rip across the country on.Im a daily rider so I need something that will last.Any help would be great.I have 1,500 for the upgrade.Help me send my money please!
if your are not doing a big bore kit...andrews 26's or an equivalent from someone. I did 95 kit and went with 37's. my compression is right at 10:5:1...which is pushing it a bit. But it runs like a beast now...lol 97hp 116 tq and no head work...yet.
My bike was custom tuned using the vision,it was on the dyno for a good 4 hours,a bit rich right now for break in more but is gonna be retuned end of spring.
Every one talks about big motors with high torque an hp. It's easy to get good numbers with bore kits but can half of you get good numbers with say an 80" motor? I truly doubt it... I would like to see an 80" thread with real numbers, then I might be impressed..... "Do more with Less"
2012 Slim stage 2. Zippers intake, TW 7H cams, and V&H Staggered Big Shots (not long shots). I left some on the table by not going 2-1 exhaust and running quiet baffle, but there's a style/sound thing I was after, hehe. Very happy with the outcome.
Just got my bike back from the dyno. I am floored at the results. It pulls sooooo friggin hard. Also, no compression releases... just using the 574 easy start crane cams and they work like a charm.
107" cylinders
No Headwork
574 Easy Start Crane Cams (Chris "Rocket" Rivas endorsed cams)
CP Pistons (10.75:1)
Big Sucker (extended filter)
Big Shot Staggered
