I am new to HD, so NOT real familar with all the abreviations. I'm getting a 2013 street glide, and I'm looking for some info on a good exhaust system for the 103. I'm planning on getting a full exh system, a tuner, and the air cleaner. And maybe cams... MAYBE! depending on how much it will cost. So if anyone riding a new street glide w/ 103 has any info to share I would greatly appreciate it!
Thanks
I suggest you ride it as it is and get used to it. As the miles roll by you'll get a better idea of what you want, also meet riders with mods and compare notes. There's no need to rush into this! Also be aware that getting more performance only leads to wanting even more.....

I have a 2012 FLHX that was just dyno tuned. I have V&H Power Duals with Rinehart 3.5 slips, Stage 1. Mine hit a max of 75.8HP/94.00FTLB. After looking at posts with folks having cams, more mods, etc., and not hitting what my bike hit, I'm pretty doggone happy. I think I'll just leave it alone. My baseline prior to dyno tuning, but with the mods was 66.06HP/75.08FTLB. the guys at the dealer say that it is unusual to get such a nice jump in torque. They said they usually see about 10-12FTLB. I'm stoked...
I also have a 2012 FLHX I did V&H pro Pipe with stage one and the tuner. I got 97tq and 80hp
Finally got around to getting a dyno run today (hard to find an open dyno on Saturdays around here). Overall pretty happy with the numbers: 86.1hp, 101.6 ft-lbs
Setup is a stock 103, D&D FatCat 2-1 exhaust with Q baffle, HD Heavy Breather, Tmax Autotune, and CycleRama 575 cams. No headwork.
Since you post here data please make them comparable for the rest of us!
On the numbers front, do you get better engine feel than the seemingly frugal number increase?
It is usually much more than just hp numbers...

Welcome to the forum.
To answer your question, yes 101.6 ft-lbs is a substantial difference in performance from a stock 103 engine. It throws you back in the seat. For the average Harley rider, increased torque is what you'll notice. HP is just a number to brag about.

Maybe for you...I definitely touch my HP range...quite often
