Rene', why limit it to metric sizess? Unless there is already a database for the U.S. sized parts.

I can add two but I don't know and don't know where to find the part numbers. On the Showa front forks of my 07 FXDC, the seat pipe screw is 12mm hex. That tool doesn't seem to be found commonly in hex kits you buy retail. Some of us have purchased it separately at Sears for 8 bucks. Also, the fork tube caps are 35mm wrench or socket, preferably socket for removal.

 

Greg, your contribution is much appreciated! I've added the info on the tube cap to the database.

Most (US&UK) members do have a nice set of "Across Flats" (AF) wrenches and sockets in the tool-box and not so many "metric". Over here on the European continent it's the opposite. I started the database in order to determine what kind of "metric" wrenches are needed so you guys in the USA and UK are able to order/buy the single ones you need, instead of having to buy a complete metric set.

Not shure what you mean by the "seat pipe screw" ; could you be a bit more specific please?

I don't know the part number as its not listed in the 07 part manual but...

the allen bolt underneath the left side fork tube holding the damper in is 12mm 6pt...NAPA auto p/n:61-5312 http://www.napaonline.com/NOLPPSE/%2...312_0006572290

 

Part number for the 12mm hex screw they are talking about is 46614-06
